GuestScreener provides a technical platform that enables hosts and property managers to request guest information, review submissions, and optionally facilitate security deposits through third-party providers.
GuestScreener does not:
- Act as a regulatory authority
- Provide legal, financial, or compliance advice
- Perform government-grade identity verification
- Conduct criminal, credit, or background checks
- Guarantee the identity, behaviour, or intentions of any guest
All information collected through GuestScreener is provided directly by guests and reviewed by hosts.
Host Control and Responsibility
Hosts are always in control of:
- Whether screening is required
- What information is requested
- How submissions are interpreted
- Whether a booking proceeds or is declined
- Whether a deposit is requested
GuestScreener does not make decisions on behalf of hosts and does not intervene in booking outcomes.
The use of GuestScreener does not override:
- Booking platform terms (e.g. Airbnb, Booking.com)
- Local laws or regulations
- Host obligations to guests
GuestScreener is provided "as-is" as a screening and deterrence tool to assist hosts in managing risk.
