GuestScreener provides a guest screening platform for short-term rental hosts. The service allows hosts to request information and review submissions prior to check-in.

2. No Guarantee or Assurance

GuestScreener does not guarantee:

  • The authenticity of documents
  • The identity of guests
  • The absence of risk or damage

All screening outputs are informational only.

3. Host Obligations

Hosts are responsible for:

  • Complying with booking platform rules
  • Making all booking and access decisions
  • Ensuring screening practices comply with local law
  • Handling disputes with guests

4. Guest Obligations

Guests agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Only submit documents they are authorised to use
  • Use the platform lawfully

5. Deposits and Payments

GuestScreener may facilitate deposits via third-party providers.

GuestScreener:

  • Does not hold funds
  • Does not arbitrate disputes
  • Is not responsible for payment outcomes

Disputes must be resolved between the host, guest, and payment provider.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GuestScreener is not liable for:

  • Property damage
  • Booking cancellations
  • Guest behaviour
  • Financial loss arising from screening decisions

7. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where misuse, abuse, or unlawful activity is detected.
